Sealing leaky windows properly. How to makes sure that the windows on your boat stay sealed and the inside of your boat stays dry. The windows on Paikea are quintessential Catana design. They are curved and space-age looking but they are far from practical and downright expensive to replace. As (like most cruisers) our budget is pretty modest and we cannot afford buy new windows for the boat. Our only option is to fix the ones we have. The crazing on the perspex will have to stay (maybe we can find a magic product that will buff that out 🤔) but we can fix the squeaking and leaking issues with a fantastic sealant that is used by the professionals. We are so excited that we managed to find the product here in Spain. We think it is the best sealant for boat windows. It is UV stable and is perfect for marine environments.
Here is the link for those in Spain but we know you can source it elsewhere
